Synopsis till Casino Royale
The story begins in Pakistan where James Bond has two kill 2 people on order to earn his Double O ranking. (One of which is the MI6 section chief who has been selling secrets).
The action then moves to Uganda where we meet Steven Obanno, a feared leader of the Lord's Resistance army. He meets a man with gold rimmed glasses known only as Mr White. White introduces Obanno to Le Chiffre who has provided banking services for him. Obanno gives Le Chiffre three metal boxes of money and requests that he can access his money anywhere in the world. Le Chiffre also has his beautiful bodyguard Valenka with him.
Meanwhile Bond and another agent, Carter, are in Madagascar trailing a bomber. Bond catches and kills the bomber but gets caught in camera doing so!
Le Chiffre is on his Yacht hosting a poker game when he gets bad news from his henchman Kratt.
We then see headlines from newspapers in London reading "British Agent Executes Embassy Employee" along with a blurry photo of bond.
Inside the houses of Parliament 'M' is mad..."how could Bond be so stupid?! ".
Bond then breaks into 'M's house! He uses her laptop to trace the phone of the bomber, 'M' walks in and reads him the riot act, Bond is very arrogant though.
In Nassau, Grand Bahama Island Bond tails a man called Dimitrios, an international arms dealer.
Bond looks up info on Dimitrios on the MI6 computer using 'M's password! He finds out Dimitrios has connections to a man called Le Chiffre who was supposedly killed in Iraq.
Bond then beats Dimitrios at cards and wins his car - The Aston Martin! He then drives Dimitrios's wife Solange home.
Dimitrios travels to Miami where Bond follows. Bond gets into a fight with a guy called Carlos at Miami Airport, and causes Le Chiffre to loose millions of dollars. Bond goes back to Dimitrios house and finds his wife Solange dead. 'M' reveals the connection between Dimitrios and Le Chiffre.
Le Chiffre owns a high stakes poker club in Montenegro and 'M' tells Bond she wants him alive.
When Bond meets Vesper Lynd (a Treasury worker) he reveals personal details about his upbringing and background, She becomes his lover but is hiding a secret...she is actually a double agent!
'M' tells Bond he has to go to the Casino Royale and beat Le Chiffre at Poker to expose his corruption to his associates. Despite initially losing to Le Chiffre,Bond requests more money from Vesper Lynd.
Bond is captured and tortured by Le Chiffre (very painfully!!).however there is no holding James Bond back....!
